RE: Airing down and the crazy greenies

Ahh yes, next time I will air down at home and drive to MOAB on 15 PSI. It shouldn't be a problem, its only a measley few hundred miles. I'm willing to sacrafice because I know the air in my tires is MUCH worse than my vehicle's emmisions. And we all know the 1968 VW buses with tye dyed curtains the tree huggers drive are such clean burners.

RE: Octane Boost Additive

Most people are runnin four stroke quads which i think are not as sensitive to lower octane gas as 2 strokes are. Lower octane gas makes a huge differnce in my 2 stroke snowmobiles so i always run 91. I have run octane boost on top of 91 and did not notice much if any of a difference, which leads me to believe it doesn't work or at least as they claim. A bottle of octane boost will cost almost 10 bucks and at 40 cents more for 91 you could put 25 gallons into your genny tank for the same amount. clicky

RE: Brighter interior light bulbs???

I bought those cheezy outdoor led's with sensors from harbor freight for my driveway and I love em! When my family pulls up, the lights go on and they are not blairing just perfect. The best part is that they are solar and have a light sensor as well so they don't go on during the day. I might have to put them all around my trailer just for fun. That one of my favorite stores, what lights are you talking about?

Help me understand tire sizes

I understand vehicle tires sizes but not quads. My 300EX has stock 22x10-9 on it. I need a set of paddles and rims. What sizes can I get and are lug patterns brand specific?

RE: How to keep fuel nozzle, hose and pump clean???

Use a water bottle. The 16.9 oz fits perfect over the nozzle. Its cheap, it works, and you have a container to start your campfires with.

RE: Bouncing toy hauler

How did they raise it. 1. Put larger leaf springs or 2. Put the springs on top of the axles (flipping the axles).

RE: 5er guys with lifted trucks please step inside

06 GMC Duramax with 4" inch lift. I used to have a similar truck with a 6.0. It pulled it just fine in town but struggled on the hills. http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff132/r1mk/IMG_0177.jpg width=640

RE: Extended Warranty purchased with WW

My advice to all you folks thinking of buying extended warranties from 3rd parties: Don't. Take the money that you would have spent and put it in the bank and buy a CD. Self-Insurance. Once these 3rd party companies have your money, good luck getting reimbursed. IMO. I agree, they always find some way to weasel out of covering the part, but most people finance their extended warranties.

RE: Fullerton - Raptor Sighting Pulling Doubles on Gilbert

Ca. does allow pulling doubles with proper endorsements but neither of the trailers can be over 28' in length and you can not be over the max length of 65' or 70' (can't remember which one off the top of my head).

RE: Hooking up the 5th

I have destroyed several lube plates by squatting the truck. Now I adjust the height to show a little daylight. After I hook up it's pretty easy to see if the jaws of the hitch are above the bottom of the kingpin.
